The works below are series of illustrations which are drawn by hand. Actually with reed pen (Rohrfeder) and ink. The title of these works are “Heimat ist …” (Homeland is …). These belonged to a study of the faculty of Psychology of the university of Marburg to see how divers could the meaning of homeland be to different people.

The illustration bellow is my work for the open air exhibition of “Illustratoren Darmstadt” 2021. The title of this year’s exhibition is “Freibild” (Free subject). For this work I took a poem that can be read on the work. The two figures are my favourite musicians that are playing their instruments. SetAr, is the woman’s and KamAntsche is the man’s instrument. The musicians are sitting apart from each other, I took this idea because of the pandemic, that caused distancing. Although away from each other, the woman shares the message of love by sending pomegranate over to the man. They are playing their instruments, the sound of their music mixes up, becomes one piece of music and travels all over.
